Mr. Shakeel Ahmad, Secretary LG & CD Department Punjab visited Okara to review the progress of infrastructure projects in Okara being executed under the Punjab Cities Program. He visited the construction site of the Waste Water Treatment Plant which is part of a comprehensive sewerage solution for the city and the development of Park Chak 5/4L Park, where he also planted a tree.
With an estimated cost of 1886.96 million PKR for the Waste Water Treatment Plant and 138.37 million PKR for the Park, these initiatives are set to enhance Okara's urban landscape significantly. Dr. Zeeshan Hanif, Deputy Commissioner Okara, and other MC Okara officers, also accompanied the Secretary during this important visit.
